Winter Wool

Cold light, heavy cloth, and a street with nothing warm in it. At around minus four the posture explains itself, and wool reads better under that flat, heatless light than anything else in the wardrobe.

Winter light has no warmth in it, which is exactly what makes it useful: no golden highlights, no flare, nothing to soften the cloth. Wool and knit read better under it than any other material in the wardrobe.

The temperature was around minus four for the whole set. That is not a detail — it explains the posture, the stillness and the fact that nothing in these frames is loose or moving.
